Factory reset the Apple iPad Air 5th generation to erase all data and restore it to out-of-box settings.

Steps

    Back up your iPad to iCloud or a computer using Finder (Mac) or iTunes (Windows).

    Open the Settings app on your iPad Air.

    Tap General, then scroll down and tap Transfer or Reset iPad.

    Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

    Enter your passcode when prompted.

    Enter your Apple ID password to turn off Find My.

    Tap Continue, then Erase iPad. The device will restart and display the Hello setup screen when complete.
