How to Factory Reset the Apple iPad Air (M3)
Warning: A factory reset permanently erases all data, settings, and installed apps. Back up anything important before you begin.
Factory reset the Apple iPad Air (M3) to erase all content and settings. Available in 11-inch and 13-inch configurations.
Steps

Back up your iPad Air (M3) via iCloud (Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup) or Finder on a Mac.

Open the Settings app.

Tap General, then scroll down and tap Transfer or Reset iPad.

Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

Review the summary of items to be erased and tap Continue.

Enter your passcode when prompted.

Enter your Apple ID password to turn off Find My iPad, then tap Turn Off.

Tap Erase iPad to confirm. The device will erase and reboot to the Hello setup screen.
