How to Factory Reset the Apple iPhone 15

Erase all content and settings on the Apple iPhone 15 to restore it to factory defaults.

Steps

   Back up your iPhone using iCloud (Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup) or via a Mac/PC if you want to keep your data.

   Open the Settings app on your iPhone 15.

   Tap General, then scroll to the bottom and tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.

   Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

   Enter your passcode when prompted, then enter your Apple ID password to turn off Activation Lock.

   Tap Continue and wait for the erase to complete. The iPhone will restart and display the Hello setup screen when finished.
