Factory reset the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max to completely erase all content and settings.

Steps

Back up your iPhone 16 Pro Max using iCloud or Finder to preserve your data.

Go to Settings, then tap General.

Scroll to the bottom and tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.

Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

Tap Continue after reviewing the list of items to be erased.

Enter your passcode when asked.

Provide your Apple ID password to sign out of iCloud and disable Activation Lock, then tap Turn Off.

Tap Erase iPhone. The device will wipe and reboot to the Hello setup screen.
