Factory reset the Apple iPhone 16e to erase all content and settings and restore it to factory defaults.

Steps

   Back up your iPhone 16e using iCloud (Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup) or via Finder on a Mac.

   Open the Settings app on your iPhone 16e.

   Tap General, then scroll down and tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.

   Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

   Review the summary of items to be erased and tap Continue.

   Enter your passcode when prompted.

   Enter your Apple ID password to turn off Find My and Activation Lock, then tap Turn Off.

   Tap Erase iPhone to begin. The device will restart and display the Hello setup screen when complete.
