Factory reset the Apple iPhone 17 to erase all content and settings and restore it to factory defaults.
Steps

Back up your iPhone using iCloud or Finder on a Mac so you can restore your data later.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone 17.

Tap General, then scroll down and tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.

Review the list of items that will be erased, then tap Continue.

Enter your Apple ID password to turn off Activation Lock, then tap Turn Off.
