How to Factory Reset the Apple iPhone 17 Pro

Factory reset the Apple iPhone 17 Pro to erase all content and settings and return it to factory defaults.

Steps

   Back up your iPhone 17 Pro using iCloud (Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup) or via Finder on a Mac.

   Open the Settings app.

   Tap General, then tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.

   Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

   Review the summary of what will be erased and tap Continue.

   Enter your device passcode when prompted.

   Enter your Apple ID password to disable Activation Lock, then tap Turn Off.
