How to Factory Reset the Asus RT-AX88U

Reset the Asus RT-AX88U Wi-Fi 6 router to factory defaults to clear all configurations.

Steps

   Power on the RT-AX88U and wait for it to fully boot (power LED solid white).

   Locate the Reset button on the rear panel of the router.

   Press and hold the Reset button using a pointed object for approximately 5 seconds.

   Release when the power LED starts blinking. The router will reset and reboot automatically.

   Wait about 2 minutes for the router to restart and return to factory default settings.

   Connect to the default SSID (found on the router label) and navigate to router.asus.com to set up the router.
