How to Factory Reset the D-Link DIR-X1560

Factory reset the D-Link DIR-X1560 AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 router to erase all configuration.

Steps

1. 1

   Make sure the router is powered on and fully booted.

   Locate the Reset pinhole button on the back of the router.

3. 3

   Insert a pin or paperclip and press and hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds.

4. 4

   Release when the power LED begins to blink.

5. 5

   Wait for the router to fully restart (approximately 60 seconds).

6. 6

   Connect to the default Wi-Fi network (printed on the label) and visit http://192.168.0.1 to reconfigure.
