Warning: A factory reset permanently erases all data, settings, and installed apps. Back up anything important before you begin.

Factory reset the iRobot Roomba i7 or i7+ to erase all Wi-Fi credentials, saved Imprint Smart Maps, schedules, and app pairing.

Steps

    Make sure the Roomba is powered on and not on the dock.

    Press and hold all three buttons simultaneously: Home, Spot Clean, and Clean.

  3. 3

    Hold for approximately 10 seconds until the white light ring around the Clean button illuminates.

  4. 4

    Release all three buttons.

  5. 5

    The Roomba will reboot and perform the factory reset, taking a minute or two to complete.

  6. 6

    Once complete, all Wi-Fi credentials, Imprint Smart Maps, schedules, and preferences are erased. Re-add the robot in the iRobot Home app as a new device.
