Factory reset the Roborock Q5+ robot vacuum to erase all Wi-Fi credentials, saved maps, schedules, and settings.

Steps

  1. 1

    Power the robot on.

  2. 2

Open the top lid to expose the control panel and the small reset pinhole button located next to the Wi-Fi indicator light.

  3. 3

Press and hold the Home (Dock) button — do not release it throughout the entire process.

  4. 4

While continuing to hold the Home button, use a pin or paperclip to press the reset pinhole button once. The indicator lights will go out.

  5. 5

Continue holding the Home button for approximately 5 more seconds until the Power button blinks and you hear the voice prompt: "Restoring the initial version. It will take about five minutes. Please wait patiently."

  6. 6

Release the Home button. The robot will reboot and restore over approximately 5 minutes.

  7. 7

Once complete, all Wi-Fi credentials, app pairing, schedules, and maps are erased. Firmware reverts to factory version — reconnect in the Roborock app and check for updates.
