How to Factory Reset the TP-Link Archer AX21

Warning: A factory reset permanently erases all data, settings, and installed apps. Back up anything important before you begin.

Reset the TP-Link Archer AX21 Wi-Fi 6 router to factory defaults using the hardware reset button.

Steps

    Make sure the router is powered on. The power LED should be solid.

    Locate the Reset button on the back panel of the router. It is a small pinhole button labeled RESET.

    Using a straightened paper clip or pin, press and hold the Reset button for about 5 seconds.

    Release the button when the power LED starts to blink rapidly.

  5. 5

    Wait for the router to reboot fully (approximately 60 seconds). The router will return to factory default settings.

    Connect to the default Wi-Fi network (printed on the label underneath the router) and log in to the web admin panel at http://192.168.0.1 to reconfigure.
